i've been awake since 5 this morning. i literally dropped into my bed at approximately ten of ten pm & subsequently missed law & order for the second time this month. that show gives me chills sometimes, i love it so. monday night i saw cody chestnut & supergrub (or division group or whatever the freak they call themselves now) & santi white. santi left me unimpressed, superdivisionblablazo were great, and cody took my ass to choich. if i had to categorize mr. chesnutt, i'd say he was lenny kravitz meets a young al green meets i dunno who because cody really is on his own plane of originality. & he looks good in leather, y'all. the song doesn't lie. tankie & kaya & tracy were there. they rock. lex & dave were not, but they don't rock any less for not having been present. actually, they both rock pretty effin hard. yuram (god i hope i spelled that correctly) was an absolute joy to speak with. richard from city year was there. how incredibly random; i didn't recognize ol dude without his city year clothes on. celebrity sightings: ?uestlove & res, both of whom were really physically close to yours truly. but i wasn't tryna be on some fangirl type stuff -- they were there to enjoy the show, too... nate is jealous. he also wants to spank it. i think i have a big stinkin crush on him. that is all. la la la la la.
